Dr. Martin Ottovay Jørgensen
Martin Ottovay Jørgensen, PhD in International History, is an independent researcher. Previously, he was Assistant Professor in international history in the Department of Politics and Society, Aalborg University (Denmark), postdoctoral researcher with the Department of History, Ghent University (Belgium) and a visiting research fellow at the Department of Politics and International Relations at Goldsmiths, University of London (The United Kingdom).
Overall, his publications and ongoing research explore how early Cold War international peacekeeping emerged within the context of an international system significantly informed by the discourses, norms and practices brought about through both imperialism and inter-imperial collaboration.
